Funeral services were held at Cooper-Sorrells Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 23rd, with the Rev. Elmo Strickland officiating. Burial was made at Forest Grove Cemetery, Telephone.
Mr. Nipp was born September 9, 1890, in Texas, the son of Johnny Nipp and Paralee Gray Nipp. He was married September 1909 at Ardmore, Oklahoma to Jimmie Mae Wade. Mr. Nipp was a retired farmer and a member of the Pentecostal Religion.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Jimmie Nipp, of Paris; four daughters, Mrs. Pinkney Chappell of Paris, Mrs Minnie Lee Hulsey of Lompoc, Calif., Mrs. Opal Scott of Arlington and Mrs. Betty Sue Piland of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Dean of Hobbs, New Mexico and Mrs. Radie Tapp of Crystal Valley, Calif.; one brother, Ed Nipp of Wilson, Oklahoma; many grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
