Mr. Clinton H. Ashlock, 57, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2000, at Riverside Regional Medical Center. He was a member of St. John Baptist Church on Penniman Road.
He leaves to cherish his blessed memories his devoted sisters, Irene Jamerson, Thelmond Long, Dorothy Bartlett, Evelyn Thomas and Shirley Bridges; his caring brothers, Houston Ashlock, Clade Ashlock, Alvester Ashlock and Bernard Ashlock; his nieces and nephews; his great-nieces and great-nephews; and a host of other loving relatives and caring friends.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 2, at St. John Baptist Church, Penniman Road, with Dr. Solomon M. Wesley officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Family and friends will assemble by 10 a.m. on Saturday at 101 Springfield Drive. Mr. Ashlock may be viewed from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday at Whiting's Funeral Home.
