William H. "Bill" Johnson, age 82, of Manassas, Va. died on Saturday, July 3, 2010 at Gainesville Health and Rehab Center. Bill had lived in Manassas his entire life and was the owner and operator of Clover Hill Dairy Farm.

Mr. Johnson was born in Manassas on August 26, 1927, the son of the late Wheatley and Dorothy Haydon Johnson.

Bill was a graduate of Osbourn High School, attended the University of Maryland and graduated from Virginia Tech in 1951. Bill was a member of the American Legion, The Prince William Veterans Farm Club, Past President of Prince William Farm Bureau and a member of the Board of Directors of Maryland Virginia Milk Producers Association. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Bill was a member of the Virginia Tech Hokie Club and an avid sports fan, especially Virginia Tech Football.

Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years, Doris K. Johnson; his sons, Keith Johnson and wife, Anita and Richard Johnson and wife, Anne; his brothers, Marshall Johnson of Richmond and Joseph Johnson of Manassas and "The Lights of his Life" his grandchildren, Savannah, Hailey, Erica, Catherine, Jake, Matthew and Chloe.

The family will receive friends at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center Street, Manassas on Wednesday, July 7th from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Pierce Funeral Home at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 8th with interment to follow at Stonewall Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Grace United Methodist Church Building Fund, 9750 Wellington Road, Manassas, Va. 20110 in memory of William H. Johnson.
