A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. today at St. Mary Nativity
Catholic Church in Raceland for Irene Marie Boyer Zeringue, 80, a native and
resident of Raceland, who died at 9:55 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 19.1993
Burial was in the church cemetery.
She was the wife of Camille J. Zeringue of Raceland; mother of Leroy Zeringue of
Harahan, Pam Plaisance of Lockport and Bonnie Babin of St. Charles community.
She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Felix and Lucille Savoie Boyer; a
son, Camille J. Zeringue Jr.; four brothers, Nelson, Wilson, Charlston and
Albert Boyer; and two sisters, Velma Foret and Belle Boyer.
She was a parishioner of St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church.
Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland was in charge of arrangements.
