Samuel P. McCarran passed away at St Mary's Regional Medical Center at the age of 76. Samuel was born to Patrick Anthony and Harriett Weeks McCarran and had lived in the Reno and Sparks area for several years. Samuel was a physician practicing medicine in Reno, Las Vegas and Eureka, V. He retired in 1980. He received a bachelor of science and medical degree from Georgetown Medical School and attended Mount Rose Elementary School in Reno. He is survived by his daughters, Francie McCarran of Reno, Peggy McCarran of South Lake Tahoe, CA and Mary Kahn of Clearwater, FL; son, John of Sparks; sister, Sister Margaret McCarran of Los Gatos, CA. His son, Patrick A. II preceded him in death.
