From the Fort Worth Morning Register, Friday, November 8, 1901, p. 7:
The remains of Mrs. H. R. Cromer will leave the residence of her late husband, H. R. Cromer, 608 South Calhoun street, at 3 p.m. today for the Missouri Avenue Methodist church, where services will be conducted by Rev. A. D. Porter, assisted by Revs. R. E. Goodrich and J. P. Mussett. The sermon will be preached at 3:30, after which the procession will march to the new cemetery, where she will be laid to rest. She died November 7 at 11 a.m., deeply mourned by a loving family and kind friends.
