Mrs. Peavy taught English in 1926 at Graham High School and married Stanley H. Peavy who was high school and grade school principal. They met while teaching int he Graham Public Schools. Mrs. Peavy was a member of First Methodist Chruch and active in WSCS work and C.L.S.C. Club.
Survived by one son - S.H. Peavy, Jr. of Graham; four grandchildren.
