She was born Oct. 26, 1920, in Melvern, Kan. to Roscoe and Ethel (Boone) Failor. She married Otis Wayne Mustain May 6, 1941, in Neodesha, Kan. Mrs. Mustain retired from the Pitkin Post Office in 1988 after being employed there 30 years.
She is survived by her husband Otis Wayne Mustain, Colorado Springs; sons, Wayne Mustain, Colorado Springs and Royce Mustain of Cherryvale, Kan.; daughters, Ann Templeton of Florissant and Cheryl (Tim) Walker, Salida; brother Roy Failor of Neodesha; sisters, Florence (Virgil) York of Thayer, Kan. and Beulah (Irvin) McDowell of El Dorado, Kan.; grandchildren, Wendy (Justin) Stone, Wes (Jenny) Templeton, Matt Mustain, Tim (Marcey) Walker Jr. and Pat Walker. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Mustain was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Bernita Hallbauer. Arrangements for cremation took place and there are no services scheduled at this time. The Mustain family will take her cremated remains to Kansas for disposition there at a later date.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Columbine Manor Nursing Home activities fund through Lewis and Glenn Funeral Home.
