She is the daughter of Jakob Martin Johann Nicolaus KNÜPPEL and his second wife, Dorothea BRINCKMANN. She immigrated to America in early 1870's with her older sister, Anne Agnes Catharina KNÜPPEL.
Frederika was originally buried in Aug 1891, in the Old Masonic Cemetery in San Francisco, and was reinterred - along with other Bannick family members - at Woodlawn on 09 July 1910. She shares Grave 5 with Christian, her husband. Two of her four daughters are also interred in the Banick Family Plot, Dora (Grave 1) and Chrystal (Grave 3).
