Survivors include ten sons, James W. Brown, Ethete, Wyoming, Harvey M. Brown, Missoula, Montana, Melvin D. Brown, Casper, Wyoming, Joe Brown, Dawson F. Brown, Charles R. Brown and Arnold Brown, all of Riverton, Wyoming, Peter Fills the Pipe, Pine Ridge and Johnny Sunstrum Richie Gross, both of Deadwood; twelve daughters, Mary K. Brown, Pine Ridge, France E. Tolliver and Roselin M. Brown, both of Casper, Wyoming, Lori A. Brown, Karen K. Brown, Valerie J. Brown and Susannah B. Brown, all of Riverton, Wyoming, Kaycee Quiver, Starlet Fills the Pipe and Blixonoo Quiver, all of Pine Ridge, and Diane Thomas and Alice Thomas, both of Provo, Utah; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A one-night wake will begin at 3 p.m. Monday, July 5, at the Delphine Brown residence in Pine Ridge.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 6, at the residence, with the Rev. Ben Tyon officiating and traditional Lakota services by Floyd Hand.
Burial will be at Red Cloud Family Cemetery in Pine Ridge.
