Max Paul BOEHME (nee BÖHME) was the 4th of seven children born to Friedrich Wilhelm BÖHME and his second wife, Rosine Marie THIERBACH in Lampertswalde (near Leipzig), Kingdom of Saxony [now in Sachen, Germany].
He immigrated on 12 Apr 1894 (Bremen to NY, on the Spree) as Paul M. Boehme and was naturalized 27 Aug 1900, (Supreme Court of New York County) as Max Paul Boehme. He attended Pharmacy school while living in Brooklyn and later moved to San Francisco.

He was known as "Paul" to the family, but used "Max P." as an adult in California.

Although his official residence was in San Francisco, CA, Max Paul died in New Jersey, on an extended visit with family members living on the east coast. He shares Grave 1 with his wife, Dora, and her half-brother, A.J. Bannick.

Son (below) and daughter-in-law are interred in Woodlawn's Sanctuary of Peace.
