Christian Kilmer, 94, for 35 years a resident of Oregon, died in an Amity Hospital Friday. Funeral services were held at the Zion Mennonite church near Hubbard Sunday at 2 p.m. under direction of the Ringo mortuary of Woodburn. Interment in Zion cemetery.

He was born at Elkhorn, Ind., and moved to Oregon in 1913, and had lived in Sheridan for 10 years before coming to Amity 15 months ago. He was a farmer all his life and a life-long member of the Mennonite Brethren church.

Surviving are two sons, Daniel Kilmer of Portland and Albert Kilmer of Fort Sumner, N.M.; three daughters, Mrs. Cora Smith of Aurora, Mrs. Anna Stauffer of Hubbard and Mrs. Saloma Schoenheinz of Portland; step-children, Noah Berkey of Canby, John Berkey of Hubbard, Susan Pletcher of Perryton, Tex., and Mary Hamilton of Sheridan; 12 grand-children, 19 great, grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.
