Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 1, at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of Southern Funeral Home with Dr. W. L. Holcomb, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial was in the Winnfield Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers were W. C. Wardlaw, Herman Bass, Robert Baker, Melton Hightower, J. D. Jones, and Harper Terrill.
Survivors are two sons, Welby Willis of Winnfield and J. A. Willis of Pascagoula, Miss.; a stepson, Thomas Durham of Bunkie; and two stepdaughters, Mrs. John Brewer and Mrs. George Curry, both of Baton Rouge; two sisters, Mrs. Bill Guines of Dry Prong and Mrs. Rennie Wallett of Portland, Ore.; ten grandchildren and one great grandchild.
