Mr. Webb was a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis and of the Benjamin Harrison School of Law, Indianapolis. He served as a second lieutenant of infantry during World War I and was overseas for one year. Mr. Webb was stationed in Argonne Forest from October 12 to October 29, 1918, during heavy action and was severely wounded in action.
Surviving are the widow, Katherine Ruth; the mother, Mrs. Mary Abraham; two children, Mary Catherine and Clinton Samuel, both at home; and two sisters, Mrs. Julia Fittro of near Muncie and Mrs. Edna Duby of Detroit.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Meeks mortuary at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon, the Rev. Orie Conn, pastor of the South Side Church of God, and the American Legion in charge. Burial will be in Hawk Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary after 4 o'clock this afternoon.
