Katie A. VanNatter, 78, 1301 Luick Ave., died Sunday in Ball Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.
She was a lifelong resident of Muncie and retired in 1969 after 40 years in the stamping department at Ball Corp.
Surviving are her husband, Cecil C. VanNatter, Muncie; four sons, Eugene, Richard, James, and John VanNatter, all of Muncie; three daughters, Marjorie Brady, Dade City, Fla.; Wilma Heuchan, Muncie, and Leah Little, Sebring, Fla.; two brothers, David Stahl, Muncie, and Cecil Stahl, Maysville, N.C.; 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Parson Mortuary. Rev. Paul Hill will officiate. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today at the mortuary, and before services Tuesday.
