Aunt "Dorrie" never married. My mother said Dorrie was more of a grandmother to her than an aunt. They were very close.
After Dorrie's parents died, she lived with Aunt Ophelia and Uncle Earl. After Earl's death, Aunt Dorrie and sisters Ophelia and Flossie shared a home until Ophelia's death in 1983. I fondly recall frying pans being slung on the stove as we exited the car. When we visited, we were GOING to eat. Fond memories.
