Michael D. McCormack, 48, of Silver Lake, Indiana, and formerly of Casey, died at 12:15 a.m. Thursday, May 10, 2001 at St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital, Effinghm. Funeral services were at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, May 13, at Markwell Funeral Home, Casey. Visitation was 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. He was born December 7, 1952 in Mattoon, Illinois to Carl Hugh and Rosemary Robey McCormack. He was a truck driver for MST Trucking Co. of Casey and attended Community Bible Church in Warsaw, Indiana. Surviving are daughters, Michelle (McCormack) Alexander of Charleston, Billie Joe McCormack of Martinsville and Tammy McCormack of Casey; brothers, Jim McCormack and his wife Doris of Casper, Wyo. and Bryan McCormack and his wife Carolyn Sue, of Shumway; sister, mary Jean Davis; special friend Brenda Brelej of California. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Dale McCormack. Memorials may be made to Shriner's Hospital for Children, 2001 S. Lindbergh Blvd., St. Louis, Mo. 63131-3597.
