Earline Hughes nee Roop of Cuba, MO was born on Friday, January 23, 1942 in Kansas City, KS to Richard Roop and Rebecca Jane Dotson Roop. She passed away on Friday, July 2, 2010 at Phelps County Regional Medical Center at the age of 68 years, 5 months, and 9 days.
Earline married Louis Silas Hughes on August 1, 1964 in Oak Grove, MO and to this union 5 children were born. Earline was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, reading, and cooking. She loved her family very much.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Richard Roop; brother-in-law Audrey Hughes, Henry Isgriggs and Harvey Rodgers.
She is survived by her husband Louis; children John B. Hughes of Springfield, MO, Diane (Earl) Markland of Cuba, MO, Brian Hughes of Sullivan, MO, Sean Hughes of Cuba, MO and Sharon (Tony) Corral of Austin, TX; brothers Vaughn (Lucy) Roop and Paul (Judy) Roop all of Dixon, MO, and Dale (Randee) Dotson of O'Fallon, MO; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Irene (Robert) Taylor of Springfield, MO, George (Rose) Hughes, Harold (Peggy) Hughes all of Rolla, MO, Karen Rodgers, Winston (Beth) Hughes and Donald (Artie) Hughes all of St. James, MO, and Alice Isgriggs of Steelville, MO; 6 grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Visitation is Tuesday, July 6, 2010 from 5-8:00PM and Funeral Service on Wednesday, July 6, 2010 at 10:00AM at Hutson Funeral Home, Cuba, MO with Rev. Delmar Hutson officiating. Burial at the Hughes Cemetery, St. James, MO.
