Suggested edit: I believe that Emma's parents were Roscoe and Hattie Cochran not Albert Hitch and his wife. According to marriage records of Blount County, Emma Cochran married Dewey Hitch on 6 Apr 1921 by S. M. Morton, JP. I can understand where confusion could have come from in that Albert had a daughter Emma M. about the same age in the 1920 census. In the 1940 census, Emma Marie Hitch is still home with her parents, Albert and Emma. She is age 34.
