Services will be at noon Monday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home for Ben Odell CARROLL, 72, 1232 Boswell, who died Thursday in a Topeka hospital after a long illness.

He was born Dec. 26, 1892 near Dardanelle, Ark., and had lived in Topeka 35 years.

He was a member of First Baptist Church.

He was employed in the accounting department of Kansas Power and Light Company until he retired in 1957.

Survivors include he wife, Mrs. Ida Carroll, of the home; tow daughters, Dorothy Carroll, Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. Frank STONE, of the home; three brothers, Roy R. Carroll, Clayton, Okla., Coy Carroll, Santa Paula, Calif., and Berry Carroll, Antlers, Okla.; and three sisters, Mrs. Leo GEORGE, Tucson, Ariz., Mrs. Myrtle HARPER, Phoenix, Ariz., and Mrs. Katie Marie MESSER, Rattan, Okla.; and a grandson.

Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church.
