A. Mulholland Rites Will Be Held Thursday.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in the First Methodist Church for Archie Raymond MULHOLLAND, 77, former tax agent for the Santa Fe Railway, who died Monday after a long illness in a Topeka hospital.

He was born in Topeka Nov. 12, 1883, and was a graduate of Topeka High School. He wrote North Topeka news for the Daily Capital for a while.

He started work for the Armour Insitute of Technology at Chicago in 1902 and was employed by Western Electric Co. at Chicago before beginning work for Santa Fe in 1907.

He was a member of the First Methodist Church, a director of Postal Savings and Loan Assn., a charter member of the Downtown Kiwanis Club, and a member of Siloam Lodge No. 225, AF&AM, Scottish Rite bodies, Arab Shrine, Tirnity Shrine No. 7, Topeka Chapter No. 462 OES, Toltec Rite, High Twelve and Santa Fe Retired Employes Club of Topeka.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Lina Vesper Mulholland, 1209 Tyler; and a son, Edward L. Mulholland, 2310 Topeka.

Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home is in charge.
