CROSBYTON (Special) - Services for Hoyt Fred Edwards, 70, of Pearland will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at the Crosbyton First Baptist Church with the Rev. Donald Hancock, a Baptist minister from Lubbock, officiating.
Burial will be in the Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home.

He died Monday morning in a hospital in Pearland after an illness.

Born in Speedwell, Tenn., Edwards was a former resident of Crosbyton. He married Allean Cummings, July 22, 1934, in Crosbyton. He was a retired ginner.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Wayne Autry of Riverton, Wyo.; a daughter, Mrs. Forrest Hargrove of Pearland; two brothers, Charles of Lubbock and Kenneth of Lockney; two sisters, Dorothy Marley of Crosbyton and Wanda Meek of Plainview; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
