Pvt. Garrison was a 1940 graduate of Peoria H.S., and was drafted as a replacement on October 30, 1944. He married Miss Stanley in East Peoria on September 1, 1940. His father was the President of Melvin Trucking in Peoria. He does leave two brothers, Sgt. Eugene Garrison of the Army Air Corps in Europe, and Melvin Garrison at home.
