When Reba Inez (Abel) Holley was born on May 10, 1901, in Macon, Bibb, Georgia, her father, William Sebastian Holley, was 55, and her mother, Laura Josephine Wilder, was 39. She married Nick Robert Abel on June 17, 1921, in her hometown. They had one child during their marriage. She died on November 22, 1987, in Macon, Georgia, at the age of 86, and was buried there in Riverside Cemetery.

Inez H. Abel, the 86-year-old widow of Nick Abel, formerly of 35.T Vineville Ave., Apt. A, died Sunday in a local hospital. She was a retired worker for Kiralfy Goldman. Graveside services will held at 2:00 PM Wednesday in Riverside Cemetery, entering through the main gate. The Rev. Jarrell Lillard will officite. A lifelong resident of Bibb County, Mrs. Abel was a member of Cherokee Heights United Methodist Church, where she attended the Penland Sunday Class. She was also a member of the United Methodist Women, the Professional Business Women and the Macon Women's Club. Mrs. Abel also worked as a Pink Lady at the Medical Center of Central Georgia's gift shop. Survivors include a sister, Mildred H. Jamison of Fredericksburg, Va. The family may be contacted at the residence of Nita Collins, 4195 Meadow Brook Drive, Macon. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made to Cherokee Heights United Methodist Church. Hart's Mortuary has charge of arrangements.
