Harlie H. Cummins, 65, of Somerset, died last Thursday.

The son of the late James and Martha Elizabeth Davenport Cummins, he was born March 14, 1893. He married Theola Jane Nichols March 10, 1918 and 10 children were born to them. One child preceded him in death.

Mr. Cummins professed his faith about 25 years ago and united with the Kidder Baptist Church. He was a faithful member there until his death.

Mr. Cummins is survived by his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Stella Miller, New Lisbon, Indiana and Mrs. Connie Sue Watson, Peru, Indiana; seven sons, Francis L. Cummins and James A. Cummins, both of New Lisbon, William D. Cummins and Harry Cummins, both of Somerset, Harold Cummins, Minneapolis, Minnesota, Bobby G. Cummins, Kokomo, Indiana, and Paul Cummins, with the U.S. Air Force in Germany.

He is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Robert Sullivan and Mrs. C.C. Alexander, both of Somerset; one brother, Grover Cummins, Somerset; and several grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday in the Immanuel Baptist Church, the Rev. Sherman Adams officiating. Burial was in the Mill Springs National Cemetery.
