Fightin' Men News of Texans In U.S. Service, Dallas Morning News, 9 July, Section IV, Pg. 5. PFC Bluford B. Johnson entered service April 17, 1942. Sailed for Northern Ireland in September 1943. Thence to England, and to France in June. Died in Belgium February 8, 1945 of wounds received in action.
