FORT PLAIN - Mrs. Gertrude Gray, 77, widow of James Gray, died Wednesday noon at Amsterdam City Hospital. She had been ill for many weeks. Born Oct 31, 1881 in the Town of Palatine, she was the daughter of Isaac and Catherine Steenburg Holland.
Mrs. Gray was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Fort Plain, and its Dorcas Society. She was also a member of the Rehekahs.
Survivors include nieces, nephews and cousins.
The body was removed to the Gray funeral home, Fort Plain, where services will be held Saturday at 2:30 pm. with the Rev. Richard Rieger, pastor of St. Paul's Church, officiating. Burial will be in Fort Plain Cemetery. The Rebekah ritual will he held Friday at 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
