Ashford to Hann This Indenture witnesseth, that George Ashford and Deborah his wife of Columbiana County, John Snyder and Mary his wife formerly Mary Ashford, of Williams County {Ohio}, and Susan Chamberlain widow and relict of Samuel Chamberlain deceased, formerly Susan Ashford of
(empty) County, in the State of Ohio (being heirs, brothers & Sisters of Aaron Ashford jr, late of Park County deceased, of the first part and Smith Hann, of Parke County Indiana of the other part: We the said party of the first part in consideration of twenty dollars each, - in all sixty dollars to us in hand paid, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, do by these presents hereby forever remise, release and quit claim unto the said Smith Hann his heirs and assigns forever, all and each of our right, title, interest, claim and demand of, in, and to the following real estate situated in the said County of Parke, State of Indiana, and described as being the three undivided tenth parts or interest which we hold as heirs at law of the said Aaron Ashford jr deceased in the East half of the South West quarter of section four (4) Township fifteen (15) North of range seven West, the interest of all the heirs, ten in number, being 39 acres in said tract, together with all the privileges and appurtenances thereunto accruing: To have and to hold the said premises and all our right, title, interest, and claim or demand therein unto him the said Smith Hann his heirs and assigns forever, free from the claims or demands of all persons claiming by through or under us or our heirs. Witness our hands and seals this eighteen-day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty.
