Survivers include is wife Susan; two sons, Benjamin and Nicolas, both at home; two daughters, Nicole Wing of Rogers, Ark. and Genelle Von Spreecken at home; his mother, Helen Von Spreecken Blair of Marion; his maternal grandmother Ruth Lietz of Marion; three sisters, Carol Gray and husband Charles of Biwabik, Minn., Judy Chapman and husband Richard of Marion and Nancy Busch and husband Darrell of Hindsville, Ark.; many nieces and nephews; and four special friends, Greg Schminkey, Randy Corum, Dick Mundorf, and Lloyd Henderson.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Von Spreecken; his stepfather Leon Blair; and his brother Phillip and a sister Cynthia.
David was born May 10 1957 in Monticello, Ia., to Donald and Helen Lietz Von Spreecken. He attended Marion Schools. He served in the Marine Corps. He married Susan Lange in November 1982. He wroked at Midland Forge in Cedar Rapids. He moved to Rogers, Ark., in 1987 and worked as a first forger for Danaher Tool Co. in Ark. for 14 years.
He enjoyed music, fishing, being outdoors, and assemblong model cars.
David was a loving husband, father, son, grandson, brother and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
