ROY – Gary Lee Crossen "Our Cowboy". His horse was turned out without a rider on Friday, June 25, 2010. Gary, 65, passed away with his sisters, Bobbie and Janae "Jannie" at his side.

He was born on January 25, 1945 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Charles Ray Crossen and Melba Darlene Bronson.

Gary served in the United States Army honorably and received two Purple Hearts in the Vietnam War.

He loved working on the Towney Horse and Cattle Ranch in Colorado and was happiest when he was on his horse with his dog, Angel Marie, riding with him.

Gary was married to Ethel "Lukie" McWilliams, they later divorced, but he maintained a close relationship with her as the mother of his children.

He is survived by his children, Marinda, Barbara, Mariah, and Lee and several grandchildren who meant the world to him. Also surviving are four sisters, and two brothers, Duane (Afton) Crossen, Bobbie (Jasper) McWilliams, Shari (Nick) Fuss, Jack (Tana) Crossen, Dalene (Lee) Stephenson, Janae (Robert) McCully; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death are his parents, his daughter, Misty, his cowboy buddy, Tude, and his nephew, Michael Lee McCully.

We will never forget the things you said. We will never forget the things you did. Most of all we will never forget the way you made us feel. May you rest in peace, until we meet again.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 1, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the Viola, Wyoming Cemetery in LaBarge, Wyoming.
