Samuel "Jewell" Morgan was born on 2 Dec 1911 in Poughkeepsie, Sharp Co., Arkansas to George Washington Morgan and Mary Jane (Medlock) Morgan.
Jewell had the following siblings born of this union:

Jewell Morgon, 54, of Monette died Wednesday at the William Bowles Hospital in Memphis.
Mr. Morgon was a native of Arkansas. He was a Shriner, and a retired service station operator at Monette. Mr. Morgon was a member of the Church of Christ. He has been a resident of Monette for the past 32 years, having moved from Poughkeepsie.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Clara Morgon, one daughter, Mrs. Patricia Jane Williams of Blytheville, one sister, Mrs. Ray (Adeline) Collins of Monette.
Funeral services will be Friday at 2:30 p.m. at the Church of Christ at Monette by Clifford Dixon, minister.
Burial, including Masonic graveside services will be in the Monette Cemetery by Gregg Funeral Home of Monette.
Active pallbearers will be Bruce Steed, Aubrey Crump, Paul Powell, Cleo White, Urell Dudley and Albert Robertson.
