She was born in 1912 in Baker City, Ore., and was raised on a ranch in Baker Valley with her large family. She attended Sacred Heart Academy and later married William E. Gaddis. Together, they raised three children, spending time in Sumpter and La Grande, and eventually made a move to Klamath Falls.
She is survived by her siblings Lavelle Long and Pat Cully of Baker City; sons, Bill Gaddis Jr. of Phonix and Michael Gaddis of Myrtle Creek; and daughter Janet Horn of Klamath Falls.
Violoa was dearly loved. She had many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, who will remember her spirited personality and loving heart.
