Survived by wife, Viola; children, Shirley (Ken) Staab of Monroe, NE, Judy (Mike) Wilhite of Park City, James (Theresa) McClure of Wichita, Angela Smith of Wichita and Terry (Theta) Beardmore of Wichita; siblings, Virgil McClure, Maurice McClure, Betty Lou Smith, Janice Capps, Joyce DuFriend; 17 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. Preceded in death by parents, Lester and Leto McClure; siblings, Viola Gilmore, Thelma Minard, Theda Merritt, and Clayton McClure; son, Jack Beardmore; 1 grandson; and 2 great-grandsons. Visitation 5-7 p.m., Friday, and Services 10 a.m., Saturday, both at Baker Funeral Home, Valley Center. Inurnment at a later date at Walton Cemetery.
