Jewell E. Smith Dodson age 79 passed away peacefully at her home with family on January 21, 2012. She was a member of Forest Grove Baptist Church, a Rule High School Graduate and a South Doyle cafeteria retiree. Preceeded in death by husband, Ray Dodson, parents Henry and Eva Smith, brothers Verlin and Randolph Smith, sister and brother-in-law Ruby and Kenneth Atkins. Survivors children, Jane and (Lonnie) Welch, Mitchell and Roy Dodson and Julie (Roger) Griffith; grandchildren, Amy, Travis, Mark , Rebecca, Brandi (David) and Daniel; great grandsons Corey, Quincy, Aden and Max; brother Vernon (Lucy) Smith; sister-in-law Christina Watts; several nieces and nephews; special friends Angie, Delores and Pat; special furry grandson Bear. Family and friends will meet 1:45 PM Wednesday at Forest Grove Cemetery for a graveside service at 2 PM, Rev. Eddie Kitts officiating.
