Age 49, died Friday, April 30, 1999, unexpectedly of a heart attack. He was born December 26, 1949, in Appleton, son of the late Arnold and Agnes (VanDenEng) Van Schyndel.
Dennis was present owner and operator of Bachelors Two, Kaukauna. He belonged to the VFW Electric City Post 3319, Kaukauna. Dennis was a Vietnam Army Veteren where he was a Sergeant, having served one tour in Vietnam.
Survivors include a daughter, Lydia Lee Van Schyndel, Athelstane; five brothers and three sisters-in-law, Ken Van Schyndel, Kaukauna; Vern (Cindy) Van Schyndel, Freedom; Dave (Julie) Van Schyndel, Kaukauna; Jer (and special friend Judy) Van Schyndel, Kaukauna; Don (Lori) Van Schyndel, Kaukauna; nieces and nephews; Kelly, Christy, Kyle, Craig, Michelle, Scott, Tyler, Danielle, Brook, Ben, Nate and also special friend Cathy Vanden Boogard, Combined Locks.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his close friend and business partner Kenny Gloudeman. Funeral services will be held at 4:30 p.m. Monday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Kaukauna, with Fr. Jack Mullarkey officiating.
Friends may call at church from 1 p.m. Monday until the time of services. Electric City Post 3319 will serve full military rites following the services.
Boettcher Family Funeral Home, Kaukauna, is assisting the family with arrangements.
