PAMPA - Nora Alice "Nodie" Meaker, 75, died Monday, Jan. 2, 1989.

Services will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Dr. Darrel Rains, pastor of First Baptist Church of Pampa, and Dr. Steve Vernon, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Panhandle, officiating. Burial will be in Panhandle Cemetery.

Mrs. Meaker married Purl J. Meaker in 1936. They operated Purl Meaker Refrigeration and Appliance Co. for many years. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1986 and by one son Meradith Travis Meaker.

Survivors include one son, Cleo Meaker of Pampa; and two grandchildren.

Memorials may be to American Heart Association, Boys Ranch or the building fund of First Baptist Church.
