PANHANDLE (Spc) - Meradith T. Meaker, 42, died at 12:42 a.m. today in his home three miles east of Panhandle.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church.
Masonic graveside services will be in Panhandle Cemetery. Burial will be by Smith Funeral Directors.
Mr. Meaker was born Nov. 20, 1939, in Amarillo. He graduated from Pampa High School in 1958.
He married Dianne Zackry Jan. 26, 1963, in Pampa. The couple moved to Panhandle from Pampa in 1967. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Panhandle, Carson Lodge 1167, and National Guard.
Mr. Meaker was employed as a repairman for City Service Gas Company in Pampa, and was a farmer.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Meryl of the home; one daughter, Lauri LeAnn of the home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Purl Meaker of Pampa; two brothers, Earl and Cleo, both of Pampa.
