DES MOINES, N.M. - Jacob Lobb, 85, died Monday, June 28, 2010, in Clayton.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Clayton Church of Christ with Josh Kidd, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton.

Mr. Lobb was born March 18, 1925, in Sedan to William Henry "Bill" and Edith Mae Bean Lobb. He was a lifelong resident of the Sedan community and served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.

Survivors include two sons, James Lobb of Clayton and Jacob Lobb Jr. of Columbus, Ohio; five stepchildren, Susie Dieber of Story City, Iowa, Linda Deford and Cinda Ralston, both of Ponca City, Danny Caylor of Dalhart and Harvey Lee Caylor of Kansas City, Mo.; 24 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Iola Spriggs of Sedan and Opal Martichuski of Renton, Wash.
