WIFE OF DR. S. H. RAGAN DEAD.
The End to a Native of Wyandotte Coun-
ty and Daughter of a Pioneer.
Mrs. Vena Ragan, the wife of Dr. Stephen H. Ragan, died at 2 o'clock this morning at the home, 3034 Holmes Street, where she had lived twenty-three years. Mrs. Ragan was 45 years old and her death resulted from malignant troubles. She was born in White Church, Kas., and was a daughter of Thomas Duncan, one of the first settlers of Wyandotte County.
Mrs. Ragan had been a member of the Methodist Church thirty-five years and was beloved for her many deeds o charity. She is survived by three children, Stephen, jr. a student at the University Medical College; Walter, a student at the Western Dental College, and Alpha, who is attending a ward school.
Funeral services will be at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the Howard Memorial Church. Interment in Union Cemetery.
