Frederick Baumann, 85, of the Town of Plymouth, died at his home at 6 o'clock this morning following a lingering illness.

He was born on Sept. 4, 1873 in Glenbulah, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Baumann. He attended Glenbulah schools and was married to the former Daisy Barber there on Sept. 22, 1909. Following their marriage the couple remained in Glenbulah where they operated a meat market for 24 years before moving to the Baumann homestead just east of the village.

He was director of the Glenbulah Bank for many years. His wife preceded him in death on March 9, 1946.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 Monday afternoon at the Wittkopp Funeral Home in Plymouth. The Rev. Robert Maschke of Zion Lutheran Church in Glenbulah will be in charge of services, and burial will be in the Greenbush Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon until the time of services Monday.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Julius (Dorothy) Richter and Mrs. Henry (Ora) Bergen, both of Fond du Lac and Mrs. Robert (Vivian) Logsdon, of Marion, Ohio; two sons, Alvin and Edward, both of the town of Plymouth: 10 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one brother, Alfred Baumann of Los Angeles; one half-brother, Norbert, of Neenah, Mrs. Esther Ubbelohde of New Richmond.
