Services for Delma Herod, 72, retired farmer and land owner of New Salem community of Attala County, were held Saturday at New Salem Baptist Church. Burial in the church cemetery with Jordan Funeral Home of Kosciusko in charge. Survivors include his wife, Mrs Anna Summerhill Herod, New Salem community, one son, Stokes Herod, New Iberia, La., two half-brothers, Willis Herod, Glenmore, La., and George Herod McCool, two half-sisters Mrs. Lena May Chandler, West, and Mrs. Annis Sanders, Weir.
