Former Resident Of Carnegie Dies In Coast Wreck
Leon Anderson, San Jose, Calif., a former resident of Carnegie, was killed in an automobile wreck near San Jose Sunday afternoon, according to word received here by relatives.
Anderson, 38 years old, attended school at Pleasant View near Carnegie in his youth. He moved from Carnegie about 18 years ago.
He is a brother of Mrs. A.C. Ledford of Carnegie, and a brother of Doyle Anderson of Hydro.
Mrs. F.M. Burton and his sister, Mrs. Ted Burton and Mr. Stevens of San Jose, arrived in Carnegie Sunday to visit Mrs. Ledford only a few hours before word was received of Anderson's death at San Jose. Members of the Family Tuesday had not learned any details of the accident.
Mr. Burton and Mr. and Mrs. Stevens left Tuesday for California to attend the funeral.
