He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion, the Old East End Gang in San Diego, the San Diego Municipal Employees Association and the Retired San Diego Policemen and Firemen's Association.
He is survived by a son, Raymond P. Junker of Poway; a daughter, Shirley Junker Green of Columbus Ohio; seven grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
