The sixth of eight children born to Martin & Martha "Patsy" (Clevenger) Levi of Rushville, Rush Co IN, Jude married Louisiana "Susan" Levi on 20 Dec 1864 in Ripley Co IN, the daughter of Abraham Jr & Mary (DeGolyer) Levi of Rushville, Rush Co IN. Jude and Susan are 1C1xR.

"Judas Levi, Age 91 years, Ill for Past Three Weeks, Expired Early Today.
Funeral Services Monday Afternoon.
Judas Levi, 91 years old, died at his home, 518 West Water street, at 1:45 o'clock this morning. The cause of his death was given as arterio-sorosis. Mr. Levi had been seriously ill for the past three weeks. He was born October 27, 1838 at Osgood, Ripley county. Mrs. Levi died in 1919 Mr. Levi was a volunteer soldier in the Civil War and was a private in Co. C Second Regiment, Indiana cavalry.
Surviving are four children, two daughters, Mrs. Charles Sweet, Mrs. Omer Pea, and two sons Jess and Ed Levi of this city.
Funeral services will be held at the late residence Monday afternoon at two o'clock and burial will be made in East Hill Cemetery."
