Janet Louise Housel, 76, of St. Louis, died Sunday, December 14, 1997 at the Gratiot Community Hospital in Alma.
There will be no service. Arrangements were handled by the Alward-Carter Funeral Home in St. Louis.
Janet was born October 8, 1921 in St. Louis, the daughter of Louis Eric and Emily Marie (Schultheiss) Housel.
She attended St. Louis Schools and the Bronson Methodist Hospital School of Nursing. She lived in St. Louis or Saginaw most of her life. She was employed as a Registered Nurse at St. Luke's Hospital in Saginaw, retiring August 1, 1980. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in St. Louis. She was also a member of the Oak Grove Cemetery Board, the National League for Nursing and an Associate member of the St. Louis Monday Club.
