Funeral services for Mr. William A. Allen Sr., 60, of Fort Worth will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in People's Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow in Canaan Cemetery in Bryan under the direction of Rev. L.W. Campbell of the Shiloh Baptist Church. Mr. Allen died Thursday in Fort Worth. Born in Bryan Oct. 23, 1916, Mr. Allen moved to Fort Worth in 1975. He was a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mattie Jefferson; two sons, William A. Allen Jr. and Hardy L. Allen. both of Houston; two daughters. Vera F. Allen of San Antonio and Nora L. Neal of Fort Worth; four brothers, Nathaniel Allen of Bryan. James Allen of Bryan, Roosevelt Allen of Houston and David Allen Jr. of Hallsville: one sister, E. Penson of Houston; 16 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
