VERNAL--Our loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother, Henry Ralph Siddoway passed away September 28, 1999 at his home in Vernal.

He was born October 9, 1905 in Vernal, Utah, one of nine children born to William Henry Siddoway and Emily Jane Dunster. His younger sister, Lorna Broadbent is the only surviving member of that family. He married Marsale Eaton April 21, 1924 in Vernal, Utah. Their marraige was later sealed in the Salt Lake L.D.S. Temple in Salt Lake City, Utah.Ralph has been a lifelong resident of Vernal, except for the four years he lived in Salt Lake City while attending the University of Utah. He graduated from the University with Honors majoring in Accounting.

Continuously active in community and church activity he served simultaneously as Bishop of Vernal First Ward and Mayor of Vernal.

He is survived by his wife, Marsale E. Siddoway, children, Charyl Siddoway, Lynn and wife Kathleen Siddoway, all of Vernal, Utah; Bill and wife Nyla Siddoway, Pleasant Grove, Utah; seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, one sister, Lorna Broadbent, Salt Lake City, Utah.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 4, 1999, 11 a.m. in the Vernal Fifth Ward L.D.S. Chapel, 250 North 200 West in Vernal. Friends may call Sunday evening 6 to 8 p.m. at Thomson's Vernal Mortuary and on Monday morning one hour prior to services at the chapel. Burial will be in the Vernal Memorial Park under the direction of Thomson's Vernal Mortuary.
