Mrs. James Wendling, aged 41 years, died on Sunday morning of diabetis after having been seriously ill only 3 days. She was a daughter of George Walter, of Huff's Church. Her husband and the following children survive: Rosa, wife of Horace Kleinsmith; Edward, Frank, John, Annie, Beulah, Warren and Pearl. The youngest child is 2 years old. Deceased is also survived by her father, one brother, Manasses, of Huff's Church, and 2 sisters, Katie, wife of Daniel Reinhart, of Vera Cruz, and Sarah, wife of Horatio Moll, of this place. Mrs. Wendling was a loving mother, a beloved wife and a kind neighbor. She will be buried on Thursday, March 11, at Salem Evangelical Lutheran church, Rev. Morris F. Good, of Lyons, officiating. Mr. Funk, of Macungie, will be funeral director.
