Wilma Jane (Bryant) McClendon, 70, of Bryan passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2008, at her residence. Services are set for 10 a.m. Saturday, August 9, at Cross Free Will Baptist Church in Iola, with burial following at Cross Cemetery in Iola. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, August 8, at Hillier Funeral Home. Wilma was born on April 7, 1938, in Iola to Oscar Jennings and Lillie Mae (Wood) Bryant. She was a very loving and caring person and was very outspoken. She always put her family first. Wilma will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her husband, Jimmy McClendon of Bryan; daughter, Sherri Price of Bryan; sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy and Janie McClendon of Normangee, Mark and Debbie McClendon of Wylie and David McClendon of Bryan; grandchildren, Jason McClendon, Jennifer Helka, Michael McClendon, Josh McClendon, Dustin Price and Justin Price; and sisters, Velma Gentry and Doris Shifflett, both of Bryan.
