McPHERSON DAILY REPUBLICANTuesday, January 24, 1922Page 1, Column 3 Word was received here this noon that Tom Wallace of this city had passed away at Tampa, Florida, this morning at about 8 o'clock as the result of pneumonia. The deceased was one of the old timers of the community and was well known and respected. The remains will be brought here for interment. With Mrs. Wallace, the deceased has been in Florida since last September. His son, Dr. F.E. Wallace, of Chase, left about a week ago to be with his father during his illness. [From the Daily of January 27, 1922 - The funeral services for Tom Wallace, whose remains arrived from Tampa, Florida, yesterday will be held from the Presbyterian Church Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Interment will be in McPherson Cemetery.]
